MBA programs are expensive; for those enrolled, you want to get the best return on your investment of time and money. Go beyond what your classes require. Study on your own in addition to what is required. When I was in school, I spent my spare time studying real estate and foreclosures. It gave me an edge when I made my first real estate deal, and I made enough money to start building a business of my own. I dedicated my free time to additional research and study, and it paid off. No matter where you go to school, you can always subsidize what you're taught in your courses with specific studies on your own, so your time and investment will be put to good use.
